Trágala, Trágala, the musical, is a groundbreaking, irreverent and funny farse about Spain – full on and no holds barred! – both in its current, social, political and cultural reality, as well as its history, with humour full of nods to the past, intelligence and not adverse to laughing at oneself (and at everyone and everything), which will dramatically affect all of us citizens…

Ferdinand VII, the creator of the Prado Museum, is brought back to life today and found with ‘The Catalans becoming independent and flouting the law, a corrupt government, bought justice, the far left threatening, the army asleep, growing atheism, the Monarchy wobbling and – to top it off – the mayors taking the streets back from the Hapsburgs… In short, the same ole story, the ungovernability of Spain’… Does Spain have a solution?
