ONCE dedicates five million coupons to World Stroke Day, to support patients and their families.
The president of the ONCE Social Group, Miguel Carballeda, the president of the Freno al Ictus Foundation, Julio Agredano, and the head of the SUMMA 112 Stroke Commission, Dr. Nicolás Riera López, presented this coupon on October 21, which includes the phrase ‘Help us help’.
During the presentation, we acted out the symptoms that indicate that a person is suffering a stroke, and advice was given for rapid action, which begins with calling the emergency services.
We are very proud to have collaborated on this project and we have learned a lot about this disease that affects so many people.
