From August 22nd to September 13th, 2026, the 81st edition of La Vuelta a España, one of the major events in international cycling, took place. For the first time, it started in Monaco and traveled through France, Andorra, and Spain before concluding in Granada, with the Alhambra serving as the backdrop for the finish.

Yllana Productions once again participated in this great sporting event, continuing a collaboration with Unipublic that began in 2019 and has allowed us to bring our unique blend of humor, creativity, and spectacle to various editions of La Vuelta.

For 2026, we developed an animation concept inspired by contemporary circus and the theatrical elegance of Monte Carlo, taking advantage of the exceptional nature of the Monaco start to give a new visual and artistic boost to our performances.

Our proposal combined street performances, physical comedy, dance, acrobatics, balancing acts, stilt walking, juggling, and magic, creating a dynamic and surprising stage universe designed to accompany fans throughout the race days.

The performances took place in different areas of the event, from shows at the riders’ sign-in to participatory activities at the meeting points, with experiences such as an interactive bicycle museum and fun podium ceremonies where the public could become, for a few moments, part of the Vuelta a España.

A celebration where sport and the performing arts came together to share emotions, create unforgettable moments, and bring the magic of cycling even closer to its fans.

Because at La Vuelta, every second deserves to be celebrated.
