The Las Rozas School of Theatre, which we have managed since 2012, continues to solidify its position as a leading center for performing arts training in the municipality with the addition of the workshop “Viewpoints: An Acting Training Based on Listening, Space, and Time,” an intensive program for adults led by Gabriel Olivares. Here are all the details:
INTRODUCTION TO VIEWPOINTS WORKSHOP FOR ADULTS
* Number of students: minimum 10 / maximum 20
- A contemporary acting training tool: Viewpoints, originating in postmodern dance and adapted for theatre, develops a dynamic and conscious way of being on stage.
- Dual stage awareness: They train both attention to the environment (space, group, stimuli) and the actor’s internal listening and real-time decision-making.
- A language of collective creation: More than a rigid technique, they foster active presence, connection among the cast, and stage creation based on the “here and now.”
