In September we moved to the Real Sitio Y Villa De Aranjuez to direct and produce the historic Motín de Aranjuez.
For Yllana it is an honour to participate in the direction and artistic creation of the theatrical shows within one of the most important popular events in our community: The festivities of the Motín de Aranjuez 2024, declared a Festival of International Tourist Interest.
The representation of the Motín de Aranjuez tells of the discontent of the people, the intrigues of the court, the fall of the Frenchified minister of Charles IV, Manuel Godoy, the abdication of the King and the ascension to the throne of his son Ferdinand VII.
The staging of the Mutiny, which involves more than 170 residents, takes place in the Plaza de Parejas, and the Royal Palace becomes the stage for the popular uprising. On an esplanade of more than 7,000 square metres, the spectacular representation of the events that took place between 17 and 19 March 1808.

Everything is ready so that Aranjuez, Madrid, Spain and the World can enjoy this Mutiny of Aranjuez 2024 and citizens can remember that without Mutiny and without Aranjuez we would not be what we are.
