We want to invite you to the night route: Carlos V in Móstoles, which is part of the activities of the Móstoles Actors School.
For Yllana, it is a challenge and a joy to begin managing the Móstoles school for volunteer actors, a free acting training school in interpretation, dance or body expression, with monographs in fencing or characterization.
The school’s actors participate in the dramatized routes and traditional scenes of Móstoles.
These are the routes that can be enjoyed:
- Route 1808: The most important in the history of Móstoles. It tells how the side to fight against the French was signed. It consists of a tour of the Móstoles of 1808, recreated through some of the ghosts that return from the 19th century. This route ends at the house of Andrés Torrejón, which remains as it was at the time.
- Route of Charles V: On April 5, 1509, Charles V passed through Móstoles and ate at the house of the Count of Fist in the Face. This route tells the story of the community members and how Móstoles lived during that time.
- Route of Our Lady of Los Altos: This route is about a baroque company, which is hired to perform the auto sacramental of La Virgen de los Altos, being invited to see the hermitage, the figure of the virgin and the miracles she performed. On this route we will get to know what Móstoles was like in the baroque.
- Little Prince Route: It is done in the Garden of the Planets, each of them is one of the planets to which the Little Prince travels.
The traditional scenes of May 1:
- Scene from the Plaza del Lavadero: The Plaza del Lavadero recreates women washing in the hermitage on May 1. In 1808, May 1 was a Sunday, and this led to people talking in groups after mass about what was happening in Madrid.
- Tavern Scene: In this scene the historical recreation of May 2 is done, the uprising of the people and the shootings are told. It is an event that attracts more than 5,000 spectators and has great emotional content.
