Throughout its long history of collaboration with ONCE (the Spanish National Organization of the Blind), Yllana participated in the “Accessible Labeling: Committed to Inclusion” workshop, an event where industry professionals were able to experience things from the perspective of blind people and reflect on their responsibility within the consumer chain.

The challenge was set: to guess the ingredients of groceries to prepare a menu adapted to different intolerances… without sight. This experience reflected an everyday reality: in the supermarket, many packages are practically identical, and without an identifying label or embossed code, you don’t know what the product is until you open it.

The workshop also addressed the impact of Braille, giving a voice to blind people who shared how accessible labeling directly influences their autonomy, safety, and quality of life.

It is an honor for Yllana to continue collaborating with ONCE and to be part of initiatives that make inclusion a real experience!
